Overview

This is how we grow at Wednesday, and what we expect of each other as we do.

Wednesday does AI transformation. We build solutions for the problems our clients have, and we put our people inside those businesses to make them work. What we do covers the clients we serve and the solutions we bring them.

A forward deployed engineer builds the solution and makes it work inside the client's business. A forward deployed designer specialises in interfaces and workflows, and is equally willing to open the codebase and build the thing. Two crafts, one track, one ladder.

Forward deployment is the job. You sit inside the client's business, form the problem with the people who have it, build the trust that gets them to open up, get the solution working in their systems, and grow the people around you. That is the work at every level. You start practising all of it from day one.
